1. THE SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

This policy applies to all Ruwang users, including Riders, Drivers (including Driver applicants), Owners/Managers of Properties, Travelers and to all Ruwang platforms and services, including our apps, websites, features, and other services (collectively, the “Ruwang Platform”). Please remember that your use of the Ruwang Platform is also subject to our Terms and Conditions.

2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information We Collect from You.

When you access or use our Services, we collect information from and about you to provide a more personalized and relevant experience. Some information we collect automatically. Other information we collect from different sources, including affiliated entities, business partners and other independent third-party sources. When you use our Services by “clicking-through” from a third-party site or when you visit third-party sites via our Services, those third-party sites may share information with us about your use of their service. Information collected may include the following:

● Contact information, including name, phone number and postal and email addresses

● Billing or payment information (such as your credit card number, cardholder name, expiration date, authentication code and billing address)

● Username and password

● Photos, reviews and social posts and videos you may have provided to us

● Geolocation information

● Device information, such as when you accessed our Services and information about the Device used (for example, IP address, software or internet browser used, preferred languages, unique Device identifiers and advertising identifiers)

Account Registration. When you create an account with Ruwang, we collect the information you provide us, such as your name, email address, phone number, birth date, and payment information. You may choose to share additional info with us for your Rider and Owner/Manager, Traveler profile, like your photo or saved addresses (e.g., home or work), and set up other preferences (such as your preferred pronouns).

Driver Information. If you apply to be a Driver, we will collect the information you provide in your application, including your name, email address, phone number, birth date, profile photo, physical address, government identification number (such as social security number), driver’s license information, vehicle information, and car insurance information. We collect the payment information you provide us, including your bank routing numbers, and tax information. Depending on where you want to drive, we may also ask for additional business license or permit information or other information to manage driving and programs relevant to that location. We may need additional information from you at some point after you become a Driver, including information to confirm your identity (like a photo).

Ratings and Feedback. When you rate and provide feedback about Riders or Drivers, we collect all of the information you provide in your feedback.

Communications. When you contact us or we contact you, we collect any information that you provide, including the contents of the messages or attachments you send us.

Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Technologies. We collect information through the use of “cookies”, tracking pixels, data analytics tools like Google Analytics, SDKs, and other third-party technologies to understand how you navigate through the Ruwang Platform and interact with Ruwang advertisements, to make your Ruwang experience safer, to learn what content is popular, to improve your site experience, to serve you better ads on other sites, and to save your preferences. Cookies are small text files that web servers place on your device; they are designed to store basic information and to help websites and apps recognize your browser. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be accessed every time you use the Ruwang Platform. You should consult your web browser(s) to modify your cookie settings. Please note that if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us, you may miss out on certain features of the Ruwang Platform.

Information We Collect from Third Parties.

Third-Party Services. Third-party services provide us with information needed for core aspects of the Ruwang Platform, as well as for additional services, programs, loyalty benefits, and promotions that can enhance your Ruwang experience. These third-party services include background check providers, insurance partners, financial service providers, marketing providers, and other businesses. We obtain the following information about you from these third-party services:

Information to make the Ruwang Platform safer, like background check information for drivers, Owners, Managers;

Information about your participation in third-party programs that provide things like insurance coverage and financial instruments, such as insurance, payment, transaction, and fraud detection information;

Information to operationalize loyalty and promotional programs or applications, services, or features you choose to connect or link to your Ruwang account, such as information about your use of such programs, applications, services, or features; and

Information about you provided by specific services, such as demographic and market segment

Referral Programs. Friends help friends use the Ruwang Platform. If someone refers you to Ruwang, we will collect information about you from that referral including your name and contact information.

Other Users and Sources. Other users or public or third-party sources such as law enforcement, insurers, media, or pedestrians may provide us information about you, for example as part of an investigation into an incident or to provide you support.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We are committed to providing you with relevant content on our Services and respect the data privacy laws of the different jurisdictions in which we operate. We use information about you so we can help you enjoy and use our Services, including in the following ways:

● Register and manage your account

● Facilitate your bookings

● Measure interest in and improve our Services

● Notify you about special offers, prize draws, competitions and services available from us, our affiliates, or our partners that may be of interest to you

● Communicate with you

● Enable communication between travelers and owners/managers of rental properties listed through us

● Enable us to publish your reviews, ratings, photos, videos and other content

● Customize your experience, including customizing the ads shown to you on our Services and across the internet

● Make inferences about your interests or preferences

● Provide you with an optimized experience and to group users of our Services based on, for example, usage and demographics

● Send you survey or market research invitations

● Respond to your questions and comments

● Resolve disputes or troubleshoot problems

● Prevent potentially prohibited or unlawful activities

● Enforce our terms of use and notices; and as otherwise described to you at the point of collection

Improving the Ruwang Platform. We are always working to improve your experience and provide you with new and helpful features. To do this, we use your personal information to:

Perform research, testing, and analysis;

Develop new products, features, partnerships, and services;

Prevent, find, and resolve software or hardware bugs and issues; and

Monitor and improve our operations and processes, including security practices, algorithms, and other modeling.

Responding to Legal Proceedings and Requirements. Sometimes the law, government entities, or other regulatory bodies impose demands and obligations on us with respect to the services we seek to provide. In such a circumstance, we may use your personal information to respond to those demands or obligations.

4. INFORMATION SHARING

In order to provide some of our Services, we may need to share information with certain other third parties, including our group of companies, in the following circumstances:

● Our Group of Companies. We share information with companies in our corporate family so we can provide you with information about products and services, both travel-related and others, which might interest you. These companies and websites will comply with this Statement and all applicable laws governing the transmission of promotional communications.

● Owners/Managers of Rental Properties. We share your information with owners/managers of rental properties to allow them to fulfil the bookings you make through our Services.

● Service Providers. We share information with certain service providers used to facilitate our Services, including to help with transactions.

● Business Partners. We may share information about you, your Devices and your use of our Services with our trusted business partners. For example, we may share information so that we can provide you with relevant content or in order to facilitate payment for a booking. This sharing is generally pursuant to written agreements which include confidentiality, privacy and security obligations; however, note that we do not control the privacy practices of these third-party business partners.

● Social Media Sites. When you use our Services and elect to share information with third-party social media sites, the information you share will be governed by the privacy policies of those social media sites and the privacy settings you have set with those social media websites.

● Advertising Networks. We sometimes collect and share information about your interests with advertising networks. Some of these companies are members of the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance, which offer a single location to opt-out of ad targeting from member companies. ● Other third parties, such as referring websites. Third parties may also assist us in collecting information by, for example, operating features of our website or facilitating the delivery of online advertising tailored to your interests. We may share audience segments and other information with third parties that use that information for tailored advertising to you. Third parties may only collect or access information as needed to perform their permitted functions.

Certain Device operating system versions permit you to opt out of certain types of information sharing, including to certain advertising networks. Please check your Device settings if you want to limit such tracking.

5. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES REGARDING YOUR DATA

As explained more below and on our privacy policy, Ruwang provides ways for you to access and delete your personal information as well as exercise other data rights that give you certain control over your personal information.

A. All Users

Email Subscriptions. You can always unsubscribe from our commercial or promotional emails by clicking unsubscribe in those messages. We will still send you transactional and relational emails about your use of the Ruwang Platform.

Push Notifications. You can opt out of receiving push notifications through your device settings. Please note that opting out of receiving push notifications may impact your use of the Ruwang Platform (such as receiving a notification that your ride has arrived).

Profile Information. You can review and edit certain account information you have chosen to add to your profile by logging in to your account settings and profile.

Location Information. You can prevent your device from sharing location information through your device’s system settings. But if you do, this may impact Ruwang’s ability to provide you our full range of features and services.

Cookie Tracking. You can modify your cookie settings on your browser, but if you delete or choose not to accept our cookies, you may be missing out on certain features of the Ruwang Platform.

Do Not Track. Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not want them to track your online activities. The Ruwang Platform does not currently support Do Not Track requests at this time.

Deleting Your Account. If you would like to delete your Ruwang account, please contact us at support@ruwang.io. In some cases, we will be unable to delete your account, such as if there is an issue with your account related to trust, safety, or fraud. When we delete your account, we may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. For example, we may retain your information to resolve open insurance claims, or we may be obligated to retain your information as part of an open legal claim. When we retain such data, we do so in ways designed to prevent its use for other purposes.

6. INFORMATION SECURITY

We have implemented appropriate administrative, technical and physical security procedures to help protect your information. We only authorize specific employees to access personal information and they may do so only for permitted business functions. We use encryption when transmitting your information between your system and ours, and between our system and those of the parties with whom we share information. We also employ firewalls and intrusion detection systems to help prevent unauthorized access to your information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of information from unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure or other circumstances outside of our control.

7. INFORMATION RETENTION

We will retain copies of your information for as long as you maintain your account or as necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Statement, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period. In addition, we may retain your information for the duration of any period necessary to establish, exercise or defend any legal rights.

8. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Ruwang Platform may contain links to third-party websites. Those websites may have privacy policies that differ from ours. We are not responsible for those websites, and we recommend that you review their policies. Please contact those websites directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time as the Ruwang Platform changes and privacy law evolves. If we update it, we will do so online, and if we make material changes, we will let you know through the Ruwang Platform or by some other method of communication like email. When you use Ruwang, you are agreeing to the most recent terms of this policy.
